A life shaped by travel.

Travel has always been part of Gabriel Bilalov's life. Originally from Spain and raised in Ireland, he grew up in a family of keen travelers, with parents who work in the travel industry themselves. Some of his first summers were spent working on their hiking trips, and family journeys took him to far corners of the world.

Living between Ireland and Spain, and exploring Europe at every chance, Gabriel came to know its beauty up close: the landscapes, the villages, and the people who share their regions with real pride. Growing up in the industry, he also saw how much more personal and carefully designed a journey could be.

In 2017 that idea became a project. Gabriel created Namara Tours together with trusted partners across the four corners of the world, and built a team in every country we travel to, devoted to intricate, one-of-a-kind journeys. We launched in 2018 and have gone from strength to strength ever since, with guests who come back, bring their friends and follow us to new places.

Today we're based in Cork, Ireland, and Granada, Spain, and every journey we design shares one goal: memories that last a lifetime.

Tour Director & Operations

Gabriel strives to create one-of-a-kind experiences. He designs every Namara journey, leads many of them himself, and works directly with each hotel, guide and driver, so the care that goes into the plan carries through every day of the trip.

Guests often mention his deep knowledge of history and folklore, his feel for timing, and his knack for finding the right table for dinner and the coziest pub at the end of the day. He works in English, Spanish, Italian, French and Catalan, which opens doors all across Europe.

Behind him is a team across the four corners of the world, with people in every country we travel to: hands-on Tour Directors, expert local guides and trusted drivers who bring each intricately designed journey to life. Whether you travel as two or as forty, you're in the hands of people who know you by name.
