Early morning pick up and departure from the Port of Cobh we travel west across the lush green fields of County Cork.Stop at a ruined friary where we discover the early influences of Christian Ireland. Onwards we travel west across the Lee valley towards Goughane Barra. A Chapel situated on the banks of a lake filled with breathtaking scenery and mystical charm.
After Goughane Barra we continue westwards towards the beautiful seaside town of Glengarriff. Situated in a secluded bay it is one of Ireland´s most picturesque towns.
We grab a boat to visit the splendid Garish Island. A a garden island filled with unique plants and trees from across the world and fills the island with color.
After our return to Glengarriff we enjoy some lunch in one of the local pubs.A perfect chance to enjoy some local seafood delights
After Lunch we head south towards Baltimore.A seaside town filled with history and that was subject to raids centurys ago by such elusive pirates such as Barbarossa.After Baltimore we visit Drombeg.One of the best preserved stone circles in the world dating back over 300 years and discovery its mystery and meaning.
