2 nights in Dublin

Itinerary
Day 1 : Arrival at Dublin Airport and transfer to Belfast.

Arrival and meet and greet in Dublin Airport. We begin our short journey to Belfast. On the way we pass through the historic and ancient lands of the Boyne Valley. A quick stop to see some of the historic remnants that surround this area getting your first taste of the legacy of this land. As we travel onwards we stop for lunch in the well renowned Glyde Pub Inn. We then continue to Belfast. Short break to allow everyone to check in.and relax. We then have a get together for a bit of sightseeing and a visit to the world famous Titanic Museum. Discover how the sequences of events led to one of the largest maritime tragedies that shook society of modern time. Free evening time for leisure and an optional night in an Irish traditional pub.

Day 2: The beauty of Northern Ireland travelling through the causway coast to Derry.

We depart in the morning heading driving along the beautiful and scenic coast of Northern Ireland. Stop at the ruins of Dunluce Castle, we visit the Giants Causway, enormous hexagonal columns, formed by volcanic activity over 60 million years ago. Stop in the scenic fishing village of Portrush for lunch. We continue our journey through the north to the historical town of Derry. Free time in the evening to discover this ancient walled city.

Day 3: Tour of Donegal, Ireland´s hidden gem of wilderness and beauty.

In the morning we cross back over to the Republic of Ireland to visit the county of Donegal. This region has been named recently as 'the coolest place on the planet' by National Geographic for its aloof scenery, rugged landscape and pristine shorelines.

We visit the mystical Glenveagh national park, with its folkloric scenery of woodland and lakes. Visit the castellated mansion built by Victorian romantics in the 19th century as a way of escape to feel back in medieval times.

We then continue our exploration of this wonderful land and stop at a local traditional smokehouse to discover the ancient and natural method of preparation of smoked salmon and sample some of this local delicacy.

Onwards some more sampling of history, we visit Beltany Stone Circle and the Grianan of Aileach Fort both dating back since 1700BC to the very first civilizations of Ireland. Returning to Derry for free time in the evening.

Overnight in Derry
Day 4: Travelling through the north wild west, visiting the Slieve leage cliffs and magical county Mayo.

Departing Derry we journey on, to the town of Donegal. Visit the Jacobean style Donegal Castle, built in the 15th Century. We then visit the Slieve League Cliffs. Jetting out, over 2000 feet high over the Atlantic and said to be the highest cliffs in Europe.

We continue south and visit the pilgrimage town of Knock, one of the world's leading shrines. Stop in the picturesque seaside town of Wesport for lunch. Arrive in vibrant and lovely town of Galway. Warm, welcoming and just aswild as its surroundings. This town (known as Europe´s happiest) has great entertainement, arts and food.

Overnight in Galway
Day 5: Visit to the scenic region of Connemara, heritage farm and delightful seafood.

After breakfast we go west and visit emblematic region of Connemara. Known as the gem of the west, this is one of the last areas of Ireland where Gaelic is still spoken on a daily basis.

We will discover unique places like the unsurpassed beautiful the Inagh Valley and Lough Corrib (The largest lake in the Republic of Ireland). Possible sighting of a Leprechaun, if it rains and a rainbow appears.

We will then visit the Connemara Heritage Center to discover how people used to make a living in the harsh conditions and rugged terrain. Discover how daily life was for the local farmers.

Free evening in Galway to explore this heartwarming town.

Overnight in Galway
Day 6 : Fairytale County Clare, lunar landscapes, Cliffs of Moher and medievel castle life

Departure from Galway-We continue our journey south passing through the county of Clare.We visit the Burren National Park. The Burren,taking its name from the irish 'bhoirean' meaning rocky place. A region of special beauty where the eye is caught by a sight of a never ending limestone fields. Where certain plants grow out in-between its nooks and crannies. Rivers and streams disappear into the soil to be discovered again miles away from this infinite rock.

Afterwards we visit the jaw dropping Cliff of Moher, where you will experience the aw-inspiring power of nature and the Atlantic in its rawest form form. Hearing the sound of the waves, the wind and the birds hovering over their nests.

Continuing our journey we visit Bunratty Castle and Park and discover the medieval castle life of the ancient chieftains

Arrive in Killarney, free evening time to explore the lovely town and its atmosphere.

Day 7: Scenic drive through the RIng of Kerry and Seaweed tasting

Departing in the morning we will be exploring Irelands most scenic drive route with 100 miles of beautiful valleys and spectacular shoreline. A stop to visit a local seaweed harvest enterprise to discover how this new age but very traditional local crop is harvested and prepared. We´ll get to try a few delicious samples.

Returning to KIllarney, we stop at the elegant Muckross house and discover its beautiful park with a variety of different plants and scenery.

Overnight in Killarney
Day 8: Visit to Blarney Castle and the ancient hilltop rock of Cashel

Departing Killarney we travel eastwards this time to the proud and rebel county of Cork. Visit to the infamous Blarney Castle, where legend has it, that if you kiss the Blarney stone at its rooftop you will receive the gift of eloquence.

Afterwards we stop at the ancient rock of Cashel, Ireland´s former capital over a thousand years ago, sitting on a majestic hilltop.

We then begin our journey to Dublin, the vibrant and great capital of Ireland. Free late afternoon time to visit the city center with its Georgian town houses and bustling streets.

Overnight in Dublin
Day 9: Day tour of the delights of Dublin and a traditional Irish night with food and music.

Day to explore Dublin with a Hop on Hop off bus pass, discovering this marvelous city and all its great landmarks. A chance to visit the Guiness Storehouse and see how Irelands most famous product is elaboated. Try a nice pint in the scenic bar with a view of the whole city, also a chance to visit the Epic Ireland Museum to discover how the Irish Diaspora has spread around the world from emigration and travelling.

In th evening we will enjoy a live Irish night with traditional Irish music and dance show with a 3 course meal.A great way to say goodbye on the last night of this great country.

Day 10: Departure and goodbye

As we depart Ireland we will be left with a warmth in our heart from having enjoyed the depth of its people and land.
